That's a lovely part of the city, with Abu Abbas al-Mursi mosque viewed from the Quaitbey Fort
Montazah Gardens are great not only from above. To have an idea of the whole place you should not only have a look from the Shaeraton Montazah's roof but take a walk through the gardens to the seaside

Circus square alonside the highway from Cairo To Alexandria
In ancient times the main harbour barrier was only connected by a simple causeway...and now look at that infill!
The sand from the Sahara to the south constantly drifts over the city and in the Mediterranean, so...this [and not the altitude!] is why the image is a bit...well...hazy!
Half-view of the curving Alexandria shore.
A cluster of small amusement rides for children, decorated and likely waiting for the start of Ramadan in a few days.
Hopping the Alexandria tram across town in the hopes of eventually finding the bus depot and transportation to Egypt's desert interior.
La colonna di Pompeo
It is located in an area called Stanley, and the bridge is passing over the mediterranean sea..
The architecture of the bridge is islamic which always has lovely neat designs
