LIVE 8 AT EDEN – AFRICA CALLING DVD DETAILS
Rhino Entertainment will release Live 8 At Eden – Africa Calling on DVD, November 1. The 130-minute collection will feature the incredible lineup of African music superstars who performed at the Eden Project in Cornwall, South West England. The DVD will include a bonus documentary, Africa Calling at Eden, and will include both Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound and DTS.
Among non-African artists who performed that day were Dido and Peter Gabriel. Also included on the DVD is the introduction by actress and activist Angelina Jolie.
In association with WOMAD, Gabriel organized Africa Calling, one of the 10 concerts held worldwide as part of Live 8 in support of the campaign to make poverty history.
Any profits arising from the project will be donated to charities nominated by the participating artists.
